  7. Click Browse and then locate the USB driver folder. For example, the Google USB Driver is located in android_sdkextrasgoogleusb_driver.
  8. Click Next to install the driver.

Windows 8.1

To install the Android USB driver on Windows 8.1 for the first time, do the following:

  1. Connect your Android device to your computer's USB port.
  2. Access search, as follows:

    Touch screen: On your computer, swipe in from the right edge of the screen and tap Search.

    Using a mouse: Point to the lower-right corner of the screen, move the mouse pointer up, and then click Search.

  3. In the search box, type into and then click Device Manager.
  4. Double-click the device category, and then double-click the device you want.
  5. Click the Driver tab, click Update Driver, and follow the instructions.

Windows 7

To install the Android USB driver on Windows 7 for the first time, do the following:

  1. Connect your Android device to your computer's USB port.

  3. Select Devices in the left pane.

  • Go to IMEI tab, enter your IMEI and press 'IMEI Repair' button

  • Go to 'Service' tab
  • Select your model in the right “Phone model” drop-down list
  • Turn the phone OFF
  • Connect your phone to PC with USB cable
  • Wait up to 30 seconds while the diagnostic port appears (your phone will be in charging mode)
    If diagnostic port is not detected, power the phone ON and activate it by dialing ##2324#. Then select diag port in the ports tab.
  • Install required drivers
  • Select diagnostic port
  • Press “Remove FRP” button
  • The message 'Removing FRP lock...Done' indicates that procedure has been completed successfully

Warning: This feature will erase all phone’s data and accounts

If after FRP removal user data was not wiped automatically, perform this procedure manually in the recovery mode.

Procedure:

  1. Open Qcom tab
  2. Go to 'Flash' tab
  3. Select your model in the right “Phone model” drop-down list
  4. Power off the phone
  5. Connect your phone to PC with USB cable
  6. Wait up to 30 seconds while the diagnostic port appears (your phone will enter the charging mode)
  7. Select diagnostic port in the ports selection tab
  8. Choose the appropriate flash file and press 'Open'
  9. Press 'Write Flash' button
  10. Message 'Done' indicates that the procedure has been completed successfully and the handset can be disconnected now.

It's necessary to enable Diagnostic port in order to perform unlock procedure in some cell phone models. Here are few of them: Vodafone Smart 4 turbo / Smart Tab 4G / Smart 4 max / Smart 4 / Smart Prime 6 / VF-895N / V889N / V890N, TCL 5042X / 5042A, Orange Roya / Nura

  1. Select 'Android ADB' platform from the tab menu in the upper left side of the software.
  2. Go to 'Qualcomm' bookmark

Direct unlock for Alcatel OT-6034R / OT-6035R / OT-5050 / OT-6016 / OT-6036 / OT-6050 / OT-7040 / OT-7050
  1. Select 'Qualcomm' platform from the tab menu in the upper left side of the software
  2. 'Phone model' dropdown box has to be set to 'Autodetect'
  3. Go to 'Unlock' tab
  4. Turn the phone ON
  5. Connect the phone to PC with USB cable
  6. Adjust USB Settings on the phone:
    a. Go to Notifications (by touching the notifications bar at the top of the phone's screen and dragging it down)
    b. touch the USB connection notification
    c. uncheck all the options (if checked)
  7. Install required USB Driver
  8. Select 'Alcatel HS-USB Android DIAG Port' in the ports selection tab
  9. Press 'Direct unlock' button
  10. After the operation it is necessary to reset the phone manually

For Alcatel smartphones Smart-Clip2 doesn't show unlock codes. It shows Lock Status and a number of available code entry attempts near each type of code.

  6. Adjust USB Settings on the phone:

    • Touch the USB connection notification
    • Disable MTP by unticking the option from phone menu
  7. Select 'Coolpad Android Diagnostics USB VCOM port'
  8. Press 'Direct unlock' button
  9. Wait for the message 'Restarting phone... Done' to appear in Sigma dialog window; only after that turn the phone off.

  4. Turn the phone ON and connect the phone to PC with USB cable
  5. Choose appropriate Repair File (in SKF format)
