How to enter Archos FamilyPad 2 Recovery Mode, Hard reset (Wipe) and Pattern Unlock.

Recovery Mode Archos FamilyPad 2

1. Turn off the device
2. Press and hold Volume UP key and Power key for a while
3. Release Power key when Android logo appear
4. Keep pressing Volume Up key until you see Android System Recovery
5. Use Volume keys to select Menu
6. Use Power key to Confirm

Hard reset Archos FamilyPad 2 using External Keys ( remove your forgotten pattern unlock )

1. In Recovery Mode select wipe data / factory reset
2. press Power key to confirm
3. select Yes — delete all user data, press power key to confirm
4. select Reboot system now to finish hard reset

Hard reset using Settings Menu

1. Turn on the device
2. Select Apps
3. Select Settings
4. Select Backup and reset
5. Select Factory data reset
6. Select Reset device
7. Select Erase Everything
8. Select Ok

Warning! If you perform a hard reset, make sure to back up important data. The data can not be recovered after perform a hard reset. If you forgot your unlock pattern, It will remove your forgotten pattern unlock.
